Job summary

Roche is seeking a Global Study Manager for its pRED Clinical Operations to deliver end-to-end study management for early-phase trials. Based in Welwyn (UK) or Basel (Switzerland), the role is hybrid and focuses on cross-functional execution, vendor management, and risk oversight.

You will lead operational activities, ensure regulatory compliance (ICH/GCP), and collaborate with sites, patients, and external partners to drive patient-centric study delivery and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Global Clinical Trial Management experience - a must have on the role

• Hold a university degree or equivalent years of experience (preferred focus in life sciences)
• Have demonstrated strong and consistent performance as a Study Manager (or equivalent) in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry and drug development experience (therapeutic area experience a plus)
• A self-starter who finds passion in achieving successful outcomes and delivering excellence
• Want to make a difference and find excitement in innovating practices and challenging convention
• Possess strong working knowledge of drug development process and respective regulations, including ICH and GCP guidelines

Responsibilities

• Deliver study execution by providing operational expertise into protocol design, feasibility, country selection and data delivery plans.
• Provide country oversight for insourced studies, guiding country operational representatives during studies to ensure timely start-up and recruitment commitments.
• Manage vendor performance by directing relationships and ensuring contractors deliver to contracted scope and standards.
• Plan demand and supply by overseeing forecasting and maintenance of supplies needed for sites to run studies.
• Manage risk and compliance by assisting the study team in identifying and mitigating study-related risks and issues.
• Drive operational excellence by delivering improvements and consistency in study execution.
