Job summary

adidas Global, part of Omnicom Media, is seeking a Strategy & Planning Director to shape worldwide media strategy and planning frameworks. You will partner with senior adidas stakeholders to craft briefs, uncover strategic opportunities and anchor recommendations in audience insight and business outcomes.

You will set global direction, drive connected planning across channels, and lead investment decisions while scaling successful solutions across markets.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in communications strategy, media planning and effectiveness-led marketing.
• Expertise across digital, social, content, commerce, addressable and traditional media.
• Experience leading strategy on large, complex or international accounts.
• Track record of building trusted relationships with senior clients and agency partners.
• Confident presenting strategic recommendations with clarity and influence.

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction and planning standards for adidas globally.
• Develop connected communications strategies across audience, channel, investment and measurement planning.
• Translate cultural, behavioural and commercial insights into actionable planning guidance.
• Lead global investment recommendations using data, planning tools and effectiveness learnings.
• Drive innovation opportunities and help scale successful solutions across markets.
• Connect planning, activation, measurement and optimisation to improve performance.
• Champion OMNI and modern connected planning practices across the team.
• Coach and develop two Planning Managers, fostering collaboration, growth and high standards.
