Job summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking a Stock Accounting Analyst on a temporary contract for a prestigious international luxury hospitality group. Based in Mayfair, this role focuses on reviewing global stock holdings, optimising warehouse configurations and improving inventory efficiency, with a daily rate of £350-£400.

You will work closely with finance and operations teams, using Excel to analyse large SKU data and interact with Xero. The contract is initially six months, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock and inventory analysis for FMCG, retail, hospitality or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills with large SKU datasets.
• Experience with manual Excel-based stock systems and Xero.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse stock holdings across global locations and warehouses.
• Support optimisation of global warehouse storage configurations.
• Identify obsolete, excess, and slow-moving stock and advise on disposal, retention or redistribution.
• Assess opportunities to transfer stock between international locations to optimise inventory levels.
• Analyse large volumes of stock data and report using Excel and stock systems.
• Maintain stock records and investigate discrepancies in Excel/Xero.
• Collaborate with international finance and operations teams to improve stock management processes.
• Support the global transformation project with detailed stock analysis for strategic decisions.
