Muslim Hands is seeking a Social Media Manager in the United Kingdom to shape strategy across fundraising markets in the UK, USA, Canada, SA, and FR. You will manage content creators, provide clear briefs, and ensure consistent brand voice across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and more.

Ideal candidates have a proven track record in fundraising social media, strong copywriting and storytelling skills, and willingness to travel for authentic content creation and field events.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media for fundraising is preferred.
• Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills.
• Willingness to travel for field shoots and events.
• Right to work in the UK and readiness for DBS check where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver our social media strategy across all fundraising markets (UK, USA, CA, SA, FR).
• Manage social content creators across offices, providing briefs, feedback and regular reporting.
• Champion the Muslim Hands brand and tone of voice across all platforms.
• Conduct social media audits to identify opportunities and improve channel performance.
• Monitor online conversations and sentiment through social listening.
• Develop clear social media briefing processes for organisation-wide requests.
• Engage with followers and influencers across accounts.
• Track and report on key metrics: engagement, followers, impressions, reach.
• Travel to the field to capture authentic stories.
• Attend UK and international events, including occasional evenings and weekends.
