Job summary

Muslim Hands is seeking a Social Media Manager (Global) to lead our fundraising channels across UK, USA, CA, SA and FR. Hybrid/Remote role based at our Nottingham head office with occasional travel to London; 35 hours a week.

You'll craft strategy, brief country offices, analyse performance, and create compelling content across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube to drive engagement and donations.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast paced fundraising environment with changing priorities.
• Test and learn mindset, with passion for experimenting and improving content.
• Data driven approach to optimizing performance across channels.
• Experience using Meta, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest and TikTok.
• Content creation skills including graphic design and video production.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver our social media strategy across UK, USA, CA, SA and FR.
• Manage content creators across fundraising offices with clear briefs and feedback.
• Champion the Muslim Hands brand and tone of voice across social content.
• Conduct social media audits to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Monitor audience sentiment and issues through social listening.
• Develop a clear social media briefing process for requests.
• Engage with followers and influencers across accounts.
• Track and report engagement, follower growth, impressions and reach.
• Travel to the field to capture content and authentic stories.
• Attend UK and international events, including evenings and weekends.
