Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent advanced qualification.
• Certification in a recognised service management methodology (such as ITIL).
• Experience leading an international service organisation and delivering operational excellence.
• Experience in laboratory instrumentation or life sciences environments.
• Proven success managing international teams, budgets and service improvement programmes.
• Strong commercial awareness with profitable service offerings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global service strategy across regions.
• Provide leadership to UK and international service teams.
• Lead international service teams including technical support and field service engineers.
• Drive customer satisfaction using KPIs (CSAT, NPS, SLAs).
• Grow the global installed base and recurring revenue from services.
• Increase service contract coverage and value from consumables and parts.
• Develop new service offerings and digital service solutions.
• Oversee global training programmes through Labwater Centre of Excellence.
• Manage budgets and resources for efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations.
• Contribute to product safety and serviceability during development.
