Job summary

EY in London is seeking an Associate Director in Global Service Line FP&A to advise Service Line CFOs and senior leaders across Assurance, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions, and Tax. You will translate data into clear leadership narratives and practical recommendations.

Working in a global matrix, you’ll strengthen planning, forecasting and management information, partner with cross‑functional teams and promote the use of AI, analytics and EY tools to improve insight, efficiency and decision

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related discipline; professional qualification preferred.
• At least 10 years of FP&A, business analysis, or related experience in a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, planning, forecasting and management reporting.
• Proven ability to deliver financial and operational insight and stakeholder-ready recommendations.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams; influencing through judgement.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance adviser to Service Line leaders, linking results to strategic performance drivers.
• Support Service Line CFOs with analysis, modelling and actionable recommendations.
• Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting and insights.
• Translate strategy and market context into robust financial plans and targets.
• Analyse revenue, margin, cost, pipeline and productivity to identify trends and actions.
• Provide scenario and option analysis with clear assumptions and sensitivities.
• Prepare leadership updates and executive presentations with decision-ready narratives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Data Analytics, GDS and other teams to improve reporting and data quality.
• Promote the use of AI and analytics to improve forecasting and decision support.
• Support strategic cross-functional initiatives while maintaining service code integrity.
