Job summary

Zenith International is hiring an SEO Operations Director to shape delivery and governance of a multi-market SEO programme for a major client. You’ll unite client leaders, specialist teams and local agencies to turn strategy into consistent results across 70+ markets.

This influential role combines strong SEO expertise with client leadership and operational judgement, improving collaboration across teams in the UK and beyond, with travel to internal and external meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SEO programmes for enterprise-level clients.
• Strong knowledge of multi-market SEO and coordinating central/regional/local teams.
• Clear, adaptable communication across audiences.
• Proven planning and project leadership skills.
• Data-driven approach to identifying opportunities and KPIs.
• Attention to quality in reports, data and outputs.
• Experience with analytics/SEO platforms listed in tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Plan and oversee SEO workstreams across content, technical SEO, outreach, earned media and local-market activity.
• Own the Intent Based Planning Dashboard and coordinate demonstrations and feedback.
• Guide deployment of multi-market SEO strategy aligning central and local teams.
• Lead governance meetings and programme updates with clear communication.
• Maintain high standards across strategic work and reporting.
• Support and organise Data and Local SEO team workloads, including billing and operations.
