Job summary

Visa is seeking a Senior Sanctions Manager to provide sanctions advisory oversight to CMS businesses globally, reporting to the Director Global Sanctions Compliance. You will lead escalations and remediation, partner with product, legal, compliance and risk to manage sanctions-related risks and drive strategic initiatives.

The role demands deep sanctions expertise in payments, strong risk management, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex global organisation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years implementing OFAC and sanctions programs, Export control regulations, AML/ATF, BSA and USA PATRIOT Act.
• Ability to represent sanctions compliance with auditors, regulators and partners.
• Strong knowledge of global sanctions regulations (OFAC, OFSI, EU, UN).
• Excellent research, analytical and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide sanctions advisory oversight to CMS businesses globally.
• Collaborate with product, legal, compliance and risk stakeholders on sanctions risks and controls.
• Lead sanctions-related escalations and remediation oversight.
• Develop sanctions/export control training programs.
• Support policies, procedures and risk assessment updates for sanctions compliance.
• Assist in reporting KPIs and KRIs to management and stakeholders.
