Job summary

Atari is seeking a meticulous Royalties Manager to own end-to-end royalty statements, calculations, and recoupment analysis across licensors, licensees and partners. You will work within the accounting function to ensure data integrity and timely submissions.

You will interpret contracts, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with accounting, legal, and business development to standardize royalty processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in royalties, licensing finance or related function, preferably in games.
• Ability to translate contracts into financial calculations and reporting.
• Experience with recurring reporting or payment cycles under deadlines.
• Audit-minded with data review, reconciliations and decision documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end preparation and submission of royalty statements to licensors and partners.
• Review statements and payments for completeness and accuracy.
• Serve as primary point of contact for royalty queries from internal and external partners.
• Validate sales, revenue shares, deductions and recoupment against agreements.
• Read contracts to identify financial impact and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain supporting documentation, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Coordinate with accounting, publishing, business development and legal teams to obtain data.
• Oversee royalty management across Atari studios globally and standardize processes.
