Job description

This international network of accountancy firms is seeking a Risk Manager.

Client Details

Top 10 international network of audit, tax and advisory firms. This role is based in the London office and allows hybrid working.

Description

This role will allow you to work at a global level directly with international member firms, key decision makers and global committees to deliver on critical risk initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Biannual update of risk registers
  • Supporting the Global Risk Management Committee
  • Liaising with Member Firms to obtain input to update risk policies and procedures
  • Oversight of Member Firm compliance with PI and Cyber insurance requirements
  • Contribute to the risk governance structure and operations
  • Facilitate activities that enhance risk understanding, risk ownership and monitor risk mitigation activities
  • Support on other risk related activities and projects as necessary
Profile

The role would ideally suit an individual with a strong audit or risk advisory background who is looking for new challenges and to broaden their skills. You should have:

  • An ACA or equivalent risk qualification.
  • Significant experience in Audit or Risk services at a public accounting firm.
  • Strong organisational skills and experience in managing and overseeing projects with multiple deadlines and various stakeholders.
  • Confident, agile, self-starter
  • Professionalism in interactions with stakeholders
  • An ability to quickly foster effective working relationships across various cultures.
  • Collaborative mindset in solving problems and excellent team player.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills to explain complex matters in an understandable manner.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
