Job summary

Pitch Black Creative is seeking a Global Head of Resource Management to steer capacity planning across our studios, balancing talent, workload, and production needs. You will own a consolidated demand-to-capacity view and drive decisions with senior partners, including Finance and Technology, to optimize delivery and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading resource/capacity/workforce planning in VFX across multiple studios.
• Proven success improving utilization and cross-studio talent sharing.
• Experience managing resource managers or planning teams.
• Strong understanding of VFX production schedules and dependencies.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets with lookups, pivots, data modeling.
• Knowledge of ShotGrid and production tracking workflows.
• Commercial judgment balancing cost, capacity, skills and delivery.
• Clear communication and stakeholder negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global capacity planning across Pitch Black studios, building a consolidated view of demand, talent, and capacity.
• Drive collaboration and resource sharing between brands and locations; lead staffing discussions with local leadership.
• Improve utilization and commercial outcomes by reducing downtime and balancing workloads without overtime pressure.
• Establish consistent planning practices including forecasting standards and reporting.
• Lead and develop the Brand Resource Managers team, setting objectives and performance expectations.
