Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Fund Controller to oversee the Global Alpha Fund’s finance, operations and strategic activities. You will lead quarterly reporting, valuations and investor reporting while coordinating with administrators, auditors and tax advisors across several jurisdictions.

Reporting to the Fund CFO, you will manage a talented team, drive process improvements with AI-enabled solutions, and engage with investors and external advisers to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 5 years' PQE.
• Big Four/top-tier fund accounting background in real estate or private equity.
• Strong financial control, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly reporting cycle for Global Alpha, including valuations per policy and multi-jurisdictional accounts.
• Review and maintain valuation, performance measurements and investor reporting.
• Oversee fund–level data validation with administrators and annual audit oversight.
• Manage the fund's performance calculations and fees, including hurdle rate and FX adjustments.
• Coordinate treasury and cash management with CBRE treasury team and debt facilities.
• Support investor materials, queries, and DDQs ensuring data consistency with models.
• Ensure tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions (FATCA/CRS) and liaise with external advisors.
• Supervise team members, coach and provide technical guidance; drive process improvements.
