Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Global Real Estate Director to lead the strategy and governance of our international real estate portfolio. You will drive facilities management excellence, embed sustainability criteria, and partner with Corporate Functions, Regional Operations, and SERE teams to ensure resilient, efficient operations across offices, plants, warehouses, and labs.

Qualifications

Experience in global Real Estate or Facility Management across multi-site international environment.
Knowledge of IFM and vendor governance.
Strong understanding of real estate transactions and portfolio optimization.
Experience with climate and nature risk frameworks (TCFD, TNFD) and sustainability disclosure (CSRD, GHG Protocol).

Responsibilities

Define global Real Estate strategy with Corporate RE, Industrialization, and GSC partners to support footprint optimization.
Oversee end-to-end property portfolio governance (offices, plants, warehouses) including data quality, contracts, KPIs, and governance.
Deliver analytics for location strategy, make vs lease, consolidations, climate and nature scenarios; enable informed decisions.
Strengthen governance between Corporate, Regional, and SERE teams.
Build global IFM/FM capability and standardize practices.
Embed sustainability FM practices and vendor criteria.
Partner on governance of guarding, access control, CCTV, and incident response.
Lead cross-functional projects across Real Estate, FM, SERE, Digital, Sustainability, and GSC.
Drive data-driven transformation and sustainability cockpit contributions.
