Job summary

Oyster Yachts is seeking an Events Coordinator to support the Oyster World Rally across UK bases and international destinations. This role combines event coordination, customer service and destination planning with occasional global travel.

Based at one of our UK sites in Southampton, Wroxham or Ipswich, you will work closely with the Rally Manager and events team, liaising with marinas, yacht clubs, authorities, suppliers and participants worldwide.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in event management is essential.
• Experience working in a pressurised, customer-facing environment.
• Experience within marine, sailing, travel, luxury hospitality or events industries would be advantageous.
• Sailing or yacht industry knowledge would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of each Rally stage for participants.
• Coordinate planning with destinations, marinas, clubs and local authorities.
• Travel overseas up to 3 months at a time to support Rally destinations.
• Be on location ahead of fleet arrivals to ensure smooth operations.
• Liaise with partners to establish effective on-site support and participant experiences.
