Job summary

FLSmidth seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution and closing of international projects across Australia and potentially South East Asia within FLSmidth Private Limited. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting client expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process/Mechanical/Electrical) or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in heavy machinery, mining, or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2 is a plus).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage international project teams, including internal staff and external contractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Communicate regularly with domestic and international stakeholders, providing clear and concise project updates, reports, and presentations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to FLSmidth's project management methodologies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices.
• Manage project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
