Job summary

E3recruitment invites applicants for a field based Project Engineer position with a market leading chemical manufacturer. The role covers overseeing installation and commissioning of equipment across multiple UK locations, while providing technical support and driving project management from scoping to completion.

The ideal candidate will have experience in installation or commissioning, comfortable with nationwide travel and overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Experience in installation or commissioning roles.
• Willingness and ability to travel UK-wide, with overnight stays when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and commissioning of equipment across multiple UK locations.
• Ensure health & safety protocols and site risk assessments are completed before on-site work.
• Identify gaps in training or knowledge and report to Engineering Manager.
• Prepare specifications, scope and estimates for equipment installation and coordinate materials.
• Oversee installation of all equipment including mechanical and electrical aspects where qualified.
• Ensure completed installations are serviceable and site conditions are suitable for ongoing maintenance.
