Job summary

AL8238 UK Grid Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced PEM to own global project control activities, drive consistent specifications and common processes for projects implementation, and ensure outcomes meet safety, quality and cost criteria.

You will lead engineering activities across a multi-disciplinary team, manage scope and deliverables, coordinate with procurement, construction and commissioning, and drive design reviews from RFQ to SAT to deliver successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree level or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience leading grid transmission projects in EPC type environment.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and lead engineering activities of the project to meet safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost criteria.
• Manage the scope and engineering deliverables, coordinating with responsible functions and disciplines.
• Lead the project execution strategy and manage internal/external design outsourcing.
• Control design validation and ensure procurement documents from RFQ to SAT.
• Guard governance actions and manage project budget, identifying potential savings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the matrix organisation to achieve project objectives.
