Job summary

Technique Recruitment Solutions are seeking a Project Engineer for a leading engineering manufacturer near Lowestoft. The role covers smaller projects and support on turnkey capital equipment projects, with UK and international travel as required.

You will work within the Projects Department to provide technical, commercial and coordination support through the full project lifecycle, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to agreed specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, automation or related industry.
• Experience managing or supporting engineering, capital equipment or automation projects.
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple departments.
• Direct experience with customers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Experience supporting FAT, SAT, installation or commissioning.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage smaller projects from handover through to completion.
• Support Project Managers on larger turnkey projects.
• Coordinate project schedules, activities, resources and deliverables.
• Monitor progress against scope, budget and programme.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and actions.
• Maintain project records and documentation.
