Job summary

1st Executive is recruiting a Head of Procurement to lead a procurement team for a highly successful FMCG business. The role sets procurement and supply-planning direction, develops strategic supplier relationships, oversees sourcing and negotiation, and ensures inventory and availability decisions support customer and business requirements.

Qualifications

Significant senior procurement, sourcing or supply-chain experience in FMCG or international product business.
Proven leadership of a procurement, purchasing or supply-planning team with coaching and performance management.
Strong commercial and negotiation capability with strategic sourcing, supplier selection, contracts and complex supplier relationships.
Experience managing international supply, long lead times, inventory exposure and risk across borders.
Excellent financial and analytical acumen to interpret cost, margin, inventory, service and market data.
Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting interfaces, purchase planning and supplier performance management.
Understanding of international shipping, import processes, duties and delivery terms.
