Rolls-Royce plc in Derby/Hybrid is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to lead a team of buyers and develop global category strategies that drive performance across cost, quality and delivery.

You will manage strategic sourcing, supplier performance and commercial risk while coaching and collaborating with Engineering, Quality and Supplier Management to deliver tangible results in a fast-moving, high-profile environment.

Qualifications

• BA degree or equivalent required.
• CIPS qualifications desirable.
• Experience in a commercial external-facing role within a complex industry.
• Proven track record of senior-level negotiations delivering commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated category strategies for long-term supply resilience and value creation.
• Lead complex negotiations and business cases, including cost modelling and contracts.
• Build strong internal stakeholder relationships to enable cross-functional collaboration.
• Draft and negotiate contracts to support expansion programmes.
• Support Make vs Buy strategy boards with input on supplier landscape and financial analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, mitigating commercial risk.
• Drive supplier consolidation and cost-saving initiatives across key supply chains.
