Rolls-Royce plc is recruiting a Buyer to join its UK teams, based in Bristol with hybrid working arrangements. The role involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts to ensure a high-performing supply chain.

You will work across direct and indirect procurement within the Early Lifecycle engine programmes. The ideal candidate has proven buying experience in regulated or complex industries, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a relevant

Qualifications

• Experience working as a buyer in a regulated or complex industry.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Degree in a relevant field or CIPS qualification (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Negotiate deals and select high performing suppliers that meet our cost, quality, delivery, management and technology objectives.
• Create procurement strategies that will draw value for Rolls-Royce.
• Work with the business units to deliver a high performing supply chain.
• Work with Group business services to transact on our behalf.
• Manage day-to-day tasks working within our brand-new system - Ivalua.
