Job summary

Strata seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a broad range of pharmaceutical events in London and Brackley, with regular European travel. The role requires delivering complex events globally, guiding cross-functional teams and managing client relationships to ensure flawless execution.

The successful candidate will oversee budgets, logistics, venue selection, and attendee management, while driving continuous improvement and innovation across projects. Travel is required 1–2 times per month.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering pharmaceutical events globally.
• Leads project teams and manages budgets and timelines.
• Manages logistics including registrations, travel and accommodation.
• Experience delivering congresses, pharma meetings, ad boards and product launches.
• Willingness to travel within Europe on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Act as the main client and delegates contact for each project.
• Oversee venue searches and all registration, travel and accommodation logistics.
• Manage events ranging from 10 to 1000+ attendees.
• Chair client meetings and vendor conference calls to align actions.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable SLAs and terms.
• Develop and maintain granular project plans with milestones.
• Provide post-event debriefs and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance and high standards across all events.
