Job summary

Optro is seeking a People Business Partner for EMEA and APAC to lead regional people strategy and shape the employee experience across these locations.

This role is a perfect fit for a proactive and resourceful individual who is excited to help drive the company's global expansion by building new processes from the ground up while also serving as a key partner and coach to leaders and employees across every department.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience as a People Business Partner, preferably in the SaaS industry.
• Deep knowledge of labor law in EMEA and APAC and experience with global expansion, including entity creation.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and operating in a matrixed organisation serving multiple geographies, including the UK, Germany, Poland, and Singapore.
• Multi-lingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with and coach leaders at all levels on a wide range of people processes, including performance reviews, compensation planning, team development, and organisational design
• Advise and coach leaders on managing complex employee relations issues, including performance management, investigations, and grievances
• Provide expertise on local labor law and compliance across EMEA and APAC, ensuring the company operates in a compliant manner
• Support global expansion within EMEA and APAC through entity creation and PEOs
• In partnership with teams within the People organisation, support the development and implementation of foundational people policies, processes, and programs for the EMEA and APAC regions
• Collaborate closely with US-based People Business Partners and leaders to ensure a cohesive and consistent global people strategy
• Leverage data and analytics to influence business strategy and inform decision‑making
