Job summary

Light & Wonder seeks a Senior Director, Global Payroll to lead strategy, governance and delivery of payroll across a complex international organisation. You will ensure employees are paid accurately, compliantly and on time, while driving transformation across systems, processes and vendor partnerships.

In this role you will partner with People Capabilities, Finance, Legal and Tax to mitigate risk and enable scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Breadth of experience running payroll across multiple regions.
• Experience building or maturing global payroll governance.
• Proven track record delivering compliant, scalable payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of global payroll operations across regions.
• Build a globally consistent payroll framework with governance and procedures.
• Oversee payroll systems, data integrity, and vendor relationships.
• Drive transformation through process optimization, automation, and system enhancements.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead readiness for acquisitions and workforce events with minimal disruption.
• Monitor payroll performance and implement scalable governance.
• Develop a high-performing global payroll team and governance framework.
