Talent Sure Recruitment Limited is seeking a Payroll Specialist to own end-to-end payroll across UK and European operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while coordinating with external payroll providers.

The role emphasizes data integrity, variance analysis, and supporting employee payroll enquiries, offering career stability and international exposure in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on payroll processing experience with deep knowledge of UK statutory payroll legislation.
• Proficient in PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP and workplace pension administration.
• Advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation and variance analysis (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS).
• Experience collaborating with outsourced payroll providers.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Payroll Operations: support accurate preparation, processing, and validation of multi-site payrolls across UK & Spain.
• Calculations & statutory compliance: perform PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP, and pension calculations in line with statutory requirements.
• Reconciliations & variance analysis: prepare payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies before sign-off.
• Provider & stakeholder liaison: work with outsourced payroll providers to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve issues.
• Employee support: respond to staff payroll inquiries with clear guidance on tax and deductions.
• Process governance & reporting: maintain SOPs and assist payroll reporting and improvements.
