Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Global Payroll professional to manage UK and Spain payroll and expand to additional EU countries. You will collaborate with People Ops, Legal, and Finance to ensure accurate, timely payroll and compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations across regions.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll and emphasizes audit readiness, data accuracy, and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and education beyond high school.
• Minimum 10-15 years of international payroll experience with focus on EMEA.
• Excellent math, analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of NetSuite or Workday is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process UK and Spain payroll; growth to additional EU countries.
• Assist with audit and compliance procedures related to payroll.
• Support month-end closing for all payroll related accounts.
• Primary contact for payroll related audit testing.
• Answer employee questions regarding pay and benefits.
• Collaborate with People Platform, Benefits, Legal, and Finance on payroll matters.
• Report to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll.
