Job summary

Outpostnow is seeking a Payment Operations Lead to own the money movement across global markets. You will live in transaction data, analyzing authorisation rates, routing impacts, and cost differences, and drive improvements with processors, engineering, and merchants.

You will work closely with the founding team, own economics, and influence pricing, treasury, tax, and product roadmap. The role combines hands-on analytics with operational leadership in a fast-moving fintech.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM or quantitative field preferred.
• 3–7+ years in payment operations, analytics, or data roles in fintech/payments.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to build models and run analyses independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and run payment operations workflows, monitor approval rates, and triage declines.
• Own payments performance by market, processor, issuer, and merchant.
• Onboard new processors and banking partners for new markets.
• Model trade-offs between approval rate and cost; optimize routing and defend decisions.
• Manage settlement, reconciliation, and payouts; coordinate with treasury on FX and funding.
