Job summary

Aztec Group is seeking a senior Payments lead to oversee the Payments function within the Banking Domain. You will ensure a robust, scalable payments service across jurisdictions, driving governance, performance, and resilience.

You will manage end-to-end payments, negotiate with banking and tech providers, and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations and client teams to deliver exceptional service. A strong leadership mindset is essential for growth across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Significant banking experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deep knowledge of international payment rails and cross-border processing.
• Experience with SaaS treasury management systems and payment hubs.
• Understanding of payments processing cycles, controls, and client service.
• Familiarity with relevant banking regulations and risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payments processes, including operating model and controls.
• Develop the future payments offering to support growth and client needs.
• Provide leadership across international payment rails and banking connectivity.
• Oversee SaaS treasury systems selection and optimization.
• Manage relationships with banking and tech providers and drive service outcomes.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Tech, Ops and client teams on governance.
• Implement contingency and resilience plans for critical services.
• Build dashboards and MI to monitor performance and risks.
