Job summary

Aztec Group is seeking a Senior Payments Leader to drive the Payments function within the Banking Domain across multiple jurisdictions. You will lead end-to-end payments processes, shape the future payments offering, and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Tech, and client teams to ensure robust governance and resilience.

The role requires extensive banking experience in multi-jurisdiction environments, deep knowledge of international payment rails, and hands-on leadership of high-performing

Qualifications

• Significant banking experience across multiple jurisdictions.
• Deep knowledge of international payment rails and cross-border processing.
• Experience with SaaS treasury systems and payment hubs.
• Strong governance, risk, and compliance awareness in payments operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payments processes, including operating model and controls.
• Develop future payments offerings aligned with group growth and jurisdiction needs.
• Provide leadership across payment rails, cross-border processing, and payment technologies.
• Support selection and optimization of SaaS treasury systems and payment tools.
• Build relationships with banks and technology providers; drive service outcomes.
