Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a Project Quality Engineer for a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation at their Peterlee site. The role focuses on delivering supplier quality activities across NPI, CPI, and NSI programmes, supporting Design Engineering, Operations and Procurement.

You will manage project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement and ensure quality, cost and delivery targets are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Experience in supplier quality within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of supplier management processes and performance.
• Knowledge of procurement, sourcing and supply chain processes.
• Experience in APQP/PPAP methodologies is desirable.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Production, Quality Engineering.
• Work with buyers and suppliers to obtain quotations and support supplier selection.
• Manage multiple projects and address supply risks.
• Support APQP projects from concept through PPAP to meet requirements.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and supplier network.
