Job summary

GlobalNow IT Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to implement and maintain Client's Local Area Networks, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness. The role includes providing support and working closely with development teams for new product releases, as well as managing vendor performance.

The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of WAN/LAN engineering experience, along with Cisco certifications or equivalent qualifications. A valid Schengen passport and the ability to travel globally are also required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in WAN/LAN engineering and operations.
• Proficiency with Meraki, Cisco Nexus, Cisco iOs, OSPF, GigE, and SNMP.
• Valid passport for Schengen member countries required.

Responsibilities

• Implement architecture design of Client's Local Area Networks.
• Assist in development of network standards manual.
• Work with Global Network Engineering on standards configuration.
• Provide inventory information to product teams.
• Offer P1 & P2 level escalation support.
• Maintain network security compliance KPIs.
• Manage network vendor performance and metrics.
• Resolve incidents and assist field services.
• Execute strategy for testing new network devices.
