Job summary

Marex is seeking a strong network engineer with a passion for automation and scripting to enhance and streamline our operations and engineering practices. The ideal candidate will leverage one or more scripting languages, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate our configurations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the banking/finance industry is highly desirable.
• Certifications in network engineering are preferred.
• Strong scripting and automation capability across networks.
• Hands-on experience with WAN/LAN design and implementation.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Role-specific: project network consultancy for new technical network requirements.
• Maintenance and operational support for Marex Network.
• Design/implement new network changes and security.
• Procuring equipment and vendor management.
• Reporting network status to stakeholders.
• Flexible hours and potential weekend work (overtime).

CCNP/JNCIP/JNCIS/PCNSE or equivalent
