Job summary

Marex Group is seeking a strong network engineer to join the Network Team in a fast-paced fintech environment in Greater London. The role focuses on the end-to-end design, deployment and operation of the global network, including security and compliance aligned with financial regulations.

You will leverage automation with Python, Ansible and IaC tools to streamline configurations, monitoring, and troubleshooting while working with ASN, WAN, and cloud networking across AWS and Azure.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking/finance is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as CCNP/JNCIP/JNCIS/PCNSE are desirable.
• Knowledge of WAN technologies and security in financial networks.

Responsibilities

• Provide network design, implementation and maintenance for global infrastructure.
• Support for architecture discussions and automation initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory and security requirements are met (FCA, etc.).
• Collaborate with global IT teams across regions and vendors.
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot network performance and incidents.
