Job summary

McGregor Boyall is seeking a Head of Managed Services to lead a growing global MSP operation and transform how services are delivered. You will own the global function across the UK and Malaysia, unifying Service Desk, NOC, SOC, Field Engineering and Internal Systems.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience within an MSP or comparable IT services organisation.
• Experience managing global service operations (multi-site, 24/7).
• Strong commercial acumen, including budget ownership and margin improvement.
• Experience leading managed IT services and ideally managed security services.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Managed Services and Managed Security Services teams globally.
• Define and execute the Managed Services strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
• Drive operational excellence across Service Desk, NOC, SOC and Field Engineering functions.
• Own service performance, governance, risk management and customer satisfaction.
• Improve profitability through automation, AI adoption, standardisation and scalable delivery models.
• Develop and maintain strong executive-level relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Partner with commercial teams to ensure services are appropriately scoped, priced and resourced.
• Lead service transformation programmes and the ongoing development of managed service offerings.
• Build leadership capability, succession planning and career development frameworks across the function.
