Job summary

Motion Applied in the UK seeks a technical account manager to drive the global Motorsport portfolio, engaging with customers across F1, WEC, NASCAR, and IndyCar while supporting the Head of Motorsport Business Development.

You will work with engineering teams in the UK and US to deliver annual and five-year goals, manage RFQs, and grow strategic partnerships worldwide. Travel globally is required; location within the UK is specified.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Business Development / Sales role within a technical industry is essential.
• Motorsport series products sales experience is desirable.
• Ability to develop a qualified sales pipeline, manage, lead and close high value technical B2B sales.
• Writing and presenting complex, high value proposals and a keen eye for detail.
• Previous marketing experience with technology products.
• Strong technical background. Engineering or Science Degree desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Motorsport Business development by proactively seeking and lead the early identification of new business opportunities worldwide.
• Qualify opportunities and position Motion Applied to win.
• Respond and manage requests for information/quotation.
• Monitor and review progress of major design-wins and key partnerships.
• Own/oversee contract negotiation where required.
