Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking a Global Mobility Immigration Advisor to lead immigration compliance for international assignments, relocations and deployments. You will advise on visas, work permits and residency requirements across multiple jurisdictions, while shaping MBDA UK's governance and policies.

You will monitor legislation changes and work with external providers to ensure smooth, compliant mobilisation. You will partner with HR and business stakeholders to minimise risk, maintain governance, and

Qualifications

• Significant experience in immigration within Global Mobility or International HR compliance.
• Strong knowledge of visas, work permits and residency requirements across jurisdictions.
• Exposure to immigration policy development and programme governance is useful.
• Experience managing relationships with external immigration providers.
• Good understanding of compliance, governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead on immigration compliance for international assignments, permanent transfers and ad-hoc deployments.
• Provide expert advice on visas, work permits, residency requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop, maintain and improve MBDA UK’s immigration governance, policies and compliance framework.
• Monitor changes in immigration legislation and assess impact on the business and employees.
• Identify, manage and mitigate immigration-related risks, ensuring legal compliance.
• Establish robust processes, controls and audit requirements to support compliance and governance.
• Partner with external immigration providers to deliver high-quality support.
• Ensure timelines are integrated into assignment planning and mobilisation activities.
• Support HR Partners, managers and employees with clear immigration guidance.
• Track milestones and accountability across stakeholders in international moves.
• Support supplier management including service performance and cost management.
• Escalate complex/high-risk cases with practical solutions.
• Contribute to development of the wider Global Mobility function.
