Job summary

BBC Studios in London seeks a highly organised Media Coordinator to support daily content operations. You will coordinate asset deliveries, manage workflow processes, and onboard clients and vendors onto operational platforms across global services.

The role focuses on ensuring timely, accurate delivery and high service standards. The ideal candidate will have strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in media distribution workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in a media supply chain or content delivery environment.
• Understanding of post-production workflows and content delivery processes.
• Experience working with digital media formats and content assets.
• Knowledge of content distribution platforms and services (FAST, VOD, OTT).
• Familiarity with media file formats, compression and delivery specifications.
• Experience using Media Asset Management (MAM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate asset sourcing, ingest and delivery across branded content projects and regional FAST channel operations.
• Create material orders to support global content sales and distribution activity.
• Support onboarding of clients, service providers and third-party vendors onto operational platforms.
• Manage and monitor delivery workflows, ensuring content reaches clients on time and to specification.
• Coordinate ad hoc content deliveries and localisation requirements with internal and external partners.
• Track operational performance and delivery activity, providing reporting and updates.
• Maintain content inventories and support efficient reuse of localised assets.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across Operations, Sales, Technology and external providers, resolving issues and communicating progress.
• Contribute ideas to improve operational processes and strategy.
