Job summary

Red Bee Media in London is seeking a Media Management Operator to handle day-to-day acquisition and media management, including MAM workflows, content QC and acting as a point of contact for clients and internal teams.

You will manage ingested media, ensure no loss of original quality, and ensure all metadata like subtitles and audio sources are correctly recorded. This role is based in London with no VISA sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Adaptability to last-minute changes and client nuances.
• Ability to make good decisions under pressure when programmes transmit imminently.
• Clear, positive communication with customers and engineers.
• High accuracy in quality control and scheduling recordings.

Responsibilities

• Recording, ingesting and managing media for Playout, Compliance, VOD and clients.
• Ensure ingested media retains original technical quality.
• Ingest metadata such as subtitles and audio sources onto server.
• Check OS availability and record live material for later playout.
• Quality check material and report faults per client guidelines.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate faults to relevant teams.
