Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Account Executive for a marine equipment/manufacturing client in North Shields. You will manage and grow an international customer base, identify opportunities for existing accounts, and prepare quotations while coordinating orders.

The role involves around 90% office work with ~10% international travel across Europe to visit customers and strengthen relationships. A technical/manufacturing background and a full UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales and account management.
• Background in a technical/engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with an established international customer base.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing and follow up on orders.
• Maintain CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Travel internationally across Europe to visit customers and strengthen relationships.
