Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting an Account Executive for a marine equipment manufacturer in North Shields. You will manage an international customer base, grow existing accounts and coordinate orders, with limited travel.

Salary £30,000–£35,000 + Bonus + OTE £40k–£45k, plus training, progression and company benefits. This is a long-term role with an established business.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.
• Background in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.

Are you a Sales Executive or Account Manager looking to develop your career with an established manufacturer?

Join a specialist business offering a strong existing customer base, international exposure and the opportunity to build long-term commercial relationships.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer with over 200 years of heritage in marine navigation and technical instruments. Supplying customers internationally, the business combines traditional engineering expertise with modern navigation technology.

You'll spend around 90% of your time office-based in North Shields, managing customer accounts, developing sales opportunities and coordinating orders. With approximately 10% international travel across Europe, you'll also visit customers in person, strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.

This role would suit a B2B Sales Executive, Account Executive or Account Manager from a technical, industrial or manufacturing background looking for international exposure and a long-term career with an established business.
