Job summary

Hunting is seeking a logistics professional to manage daily operations for equipment shipments by air, sea and road. You will liaise with customers and agents to meet delivery requirements and maintain compliant VAT, tariffs and certificates of origin.

You will support improvements in logistics processes, prepare reports, and ensure accurate documentation and records for import/export activities. This role is site-based in Aberdeen.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of logistics/supply chain roles.
• Experience with import/export procedures and related certificates.
• Familiarity with HM Customs & Excise regulations.
• Experience with multi-modal transport (air/sea/road).
• Numerical literacy in business contexts.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations for equipment shipments (air, sea, road) to customers and suppliers locally, nationally and worldwide.
• Coordinate with customers/agents on delivery requirements and timelines.
• Resolve issues related to delays or damaged goods and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC requirements and international trade laws for imports/exports.
• Quote freight costs, manage supplier relationships and review freight invoices.
• Maintain records, incoterms, tariff codes and certificates of origin for shipments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics needs with business goals.
