Job summary

Oxfam is seeking a Lease Accountant to own lease accounting across our global organisation, ensuring compliance with FRS 102 and supporting a major finance transformation, including WorkSavi and PeopleSoft integration.

You will lead end-to-end lease accounting activities, advise senior stakeholders, and drive improvements to strengthen controls and mitigate financial risk across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent and lease accounting experience.
• Experience with FRS 102 and financial reporting.
• Ability to lead multi-country, multi-currency operations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lease accounting processes: onboarding, classification and measurement, month-end reporting and disclosures.
• Lead the finance workstream for the WorkSavi implementation and its integration with PeopleSoft.
• Provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters and support key accounting judgements.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen controls for audit readiness.
