Job summary

M&G in London seeks a Head of Private Markets Investment Platform to shape and lead the technology platform and data enablement for Private Markets growth across Private Credit, Private Equity, Infrastructure and Real Estate.

The role partners with CIO and leadership to translate business strategy into a funded, multi-year platform roadmap, delivering scalable, governed platforms and trusted data.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership within asset management, alternative investments or regulated financial services.
• Owns a complex investment platform spanning strategy, transformation and live service.
• Deep understanding of the Private Markets lifecycle across asset classes.
• Experience defining platform, architecture and data strategy with a funded roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform strategy, target architecture and funded roadmap with measurable outcomes.
• Reduce fragmentation and technical debt across the platform landscape.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritise investments and funding.
• Drive end-to-end transformation while maintaining live services.
• Ensure governance, risk controls and data quality in operations.
• Oversee budgets, suppliers and regulatory interactions.
