Job summary

M&G is seeking a Head of Sustainability Platform in London to own the strategy, delivery, and operation of technology and data capabilities supporting sustainability, investment activities, and regulatory reporting.

You will lead a globally distributed team and drive a coherent roadmap, secure architecture, and cost‑efficient solutions while delivering value to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in sustainability or ESG technology within asset management or financial services.
• End‑to‑end ownership of a strategic, business‑critical technology capability.
• Leadership of globally distributed, multidisciplinary teams and strategic partners.

Responsibilities

• Set the Sustainability Technology strategy, target architecture and roadmaps.
• Embed Sustainability capabilities within the wider enterprise architecture.
• Own cross‑platform delivery planning and ensure the roadmap is achievable.
• Own delivery and platform performance with clear measures for quality, cost and resilience.
• Build scalable data and technology capabilities for investment decision‑making and reporting.
• Guide governance across the Sustainability platform with architecture and data review forums.
• Lead automation, analytics and AI to improve research and controls.
• Manage budgets, suppliers and commercial performance to deliver value.
