Job summary

M&G is seeking a Head of Private Markets Investment Platform to shape and lead the technology platform and data enablement underpinning growth across Private Credit, Private Equity, Infrastructure, and Real Estate.

As the CIO partner to Private Markets leadership, you will translate business strategy into a coherent platform vision, architecture and funded multi-year roadmap. Flexible working arrangements are considered.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leader with asset management or regulated financial services background.
• Owns a complex investment platform spanning strategy, transformation, and live service.
• Deep understanding of Private Markets lifecycle and data-driven decisions.
• Experience turning platform and data strategy into funded roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Set and govern the Private Markets platform strategy, architecture and roadmap.
• Transform end-to-end investment lifecycle with scalable digital workflows.
• Partner on data, analytics and AI to improve decisions and efficiency.
• Maintain platform resilience, risk controls and service governance.
• Manage budgets, suppliers and regulatory/audit engagements.
• Lead globally distributed, cross-functional teams with clear accountability.
