Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex electrical and electronic systems for global energy projects. You will own engineering workstreams and coordinate with international customers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering with strong theory foundation.
• Experience with electrical/electronic design, AC/DC systems, and component selection.
• Comfort working in an international team and fluent English.
• Ability to create schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams and product documentation.
• Knowledge of IEC, CE and other international standards plus QA/EHS processes.
• Experience with EMC Testing is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, PLM, Creo, Altium is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical oversight, run design reviews, guide engineers and ensure standards compliance.
• Deliver electrical/electronic designs, analyses and calculations per standards.
• Produce, review and maintain design documentation including schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams and BOMs.
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality engineering packages with safety and compliance.
• Respond to technical queries and support workshop/offshore activities and investigations.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.
• Support development of power, control, communication and electronic/PCBA systems.
• Assist on-site and off-site testing setups, fault finding and investigations.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and promote best practices.
