Sea Global is delighted to be supporting a leading global financial services organisation in the appointment of a Global IT Category Manager into their thriving procurement team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global procurement function on a 12-month fixed term contract basis and take ownership of strategic technology sourcing activity across a complex international business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Category Management.
• Experience managing technology spend categories (Software/SaaS, Cloud, IT services, Telecoms, or Licensing).
• Strong end-to-end sourcing lifecycle management and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver category plans aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activity, including pipeline management, tenders, benchmarking, supplier selection and contract award.
• Manage complex and high-value commercial negotiations.
• Build relationships with wider business stakeholders, as well as key strategic suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance for optimisation.
• Ensure appropriate Third-Party Risk Management activity is completed throughout the procurement lifecycle.
