Job summary

Edbury Daley is partnering with a global consultancy to recruit an experienced IT procurement lead. The role focuses on strategy, complex sourcing, and supplier management across enterprise software, IT services and cloud hosting.

You will own and deliver on multi-geography engagements, working with senior stakeholders to drive measurable commercial outcomes and growth of the procurement practice. Flexible mix of client-site, office and home-based work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience within IT procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience across global IT procurement categories.
• Subject-matter expertise in Enterprise Software, IT Services and/or Cloud & Hosting.
• Experience managing or influencing technology spend portfolios, ideally >$50m annually.
• Strong indirect procurement knowledge delivering complex sourcing and category initiatives.
• Consulting experience is advantageous, or close work with consulting organisations.
• Experience leading teams and delivering across multiple geographies.
• Strong commercial analysis and Excel capabilities; turn data into insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; work in fast-moving client environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams across global client engagements.
• Develop and execute IT procurement and category strategies.
• Lead complex sourcing and commercial initiatives from opportunity to implementation.
• Conduct supplier research, market analysis and commercial assessments.
• Build and translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve value and supplier performance.
• Track benefits and ensure delivery aligns with milestones.
• Engage client stakeholders to challenge thinking and align priorities.
• Lead workshops and senior stakeholder discussions; communicate recommendations clearly.
• Support development of high-performing teams and growth of the practice.
