Job summary

Edbury Daley is seeking an experienced IT procurement consultant to join a client-facing, globally operating practice. The role combines deep category expertise with consulting and transformation delivery across major organisations.

You will lead workstreams, manage teams and engage senior stakeholders to deliver measurable commercial outcomes in IT procurement, software, services and cloud portfolios.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Experience across global IT procurement categories.
• Subject-matter expertise in Enterprise Software, IT Services and/or Cloud & Hosting.
• Experience managing technology spend portfolios over $50m annually.
• Strong indirect procurement knowledge and complex sourcing delivery.
• Consulting experience or close work with consulting organisations preferred.
• Experience leading teams across multiple geographies.
• Strong commercial analysis and Excel skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Ability to operate in fast-moving client environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams across global client engagements.
• Develop IT procurement and category strategies.
• Lead complex sourcing and commercial initiatives from opportunity to implementation.
• Conduct supplier research, market analysis and commercial assessments.
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve value, supplier performance and outcomes.
• Track benefits and ensure delivery aligns with milestones.
• Engage client stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities.
• Lead workshops and senior stakeholder discussions.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams.
• Support development of high-performing teams and growth of practice.
